With regard to the obligation of officers on agree-

ment to contribute 4% of their salaries under the Widows!

and orphans' Pension Ordinance, a draft of the agreement

which contains this information is sent by us to each

candidate who is called for interview, consequently the

selected candidate is fully aware of his liability to

contribute to this fund prior to his engagement.

I attach for your approval copies of the standard

forms of agreement Classes I and II which we have revised

in accordance with the request of the Colonial Government.
